go ape adventures at buxton
Seriously, try the Treetop Challenge!
Set in an amazing location, on the outskirts of Buxton, Derbyshire, Go Ape awaits you. In fact, you’ll be making your way through the beautiful Peak District National Park. So, you’ll find lots of other things to see and do nearby. For example, if its views you’re looking from then head for Grin Low.
From here you’ll get to see Buxton below you and Solomon’s Temple, a Victorian Folly and a Bronze Age Barrow too. Additionally, Pooles Cavern is really close by so you may want to take a look.
This stunning high ropes challenge promises dizzying heights, high-speed zips and one of the biggest Tarzan Swing drops. Whether you’re looking for the ultimate, adrenaline-filled trail or preferring a gentler passageway through the trees, we’ve got all high-level bases covered with the Pannjarve Bridge, a Net Bridge and a tricky Jungle Crossing. Either way, if you’re 10 years and over the stunning views are yours for the taking as you climb, leap and zip through the trees.
Tips – Don’t Ruin Your Day!
Before you set out remember to check that you have the right gear. To this end, make sure you have sensible clothes for your adventure (remember the weather can change quickly). Also, check out your footwear, which should be sturdy and suitable for outdoors. In contrast, you shouldn’t be taking slip-on shoes, sandals, open-toes or heels.
Additionally, you should consider taking suitable gloves to hold on to ropes etc.
What happens in bad weather?
Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun!
Sometimes, unfortunately, we might need to close the course for reasons beyond our control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
Stay aware of the latest COVID-19 information and always call the owners before setting out.
