Chesterfield Studios – Classes
Movers & Shakers
This is a class for children aged between 18 months & 4 years of age. Accordingly, it encapsulates singing, actions, dancing, rhythm and instruments into a themed class for adults and children to enjoy together. This is a 45 minute class over a half-term block and it is essential to book in advance. To this end, this is a class which is operating under government guidelines in a COVID secure venue. So, guidelines are in place to protect your safety.
Musical Theatre Classes
These classes combine the three disciplines of singing, dancing and acting. Also, they are designed for children over 4 years. Additionally, they offer the chance for people to improve their skill set and also to perform in live shows. Moreover, there are a total of eight musical theatre groups, each split according to age. Each group participates in at least two performances each year.
However, places are very limited across all of our classes due to COVID-19 restrictions and you must book before the start of each term. For this reason, it’s recommended that you read the information provided on the Chesterfield Studies website.
In short, the adult programme offers a similar range of groups to our young people’s classes. Consequently, the groups meet during term time and offer great opportunities for adults to get involved with the performing arts at a centre that enjoys a strong reputation for nurturing and developing the talent of its members.
With this in mind, sessions are for all abilities and designed to give participants all the enjoyment of taking part in a theatre group without the pressure of preparing for a performance.
