What they do
Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust was set up in 1974 and its purpose is to rescue historic buildings throughout Derbyshire. The members of the Trust use their skills and knowledge to identify abandoned and neglected buildings. Following this, they work to restore the buildings back to being sustainable.
In fact, as they have now been around for quite a few years, they have a many restorations under there belt.
The Trust is currently leading a significant National Lottery Heritage Fund project at Wingfield Station.
