Stones Restaurant – A Hidden Gem In Matlock, Derbyshire
The Location
Stones Restaurant is situated on the banks of the Derwent River in Matlock, Derbyshire. However, it’s a little tucked away! Try standing on the Snitterton Road bridge across the river, it then becomes obvious. You’ll see the terrace where you can sit outside in the summer and enjoy your meal. Access is via a flight of stairs down to the restaurant on Dale Road.

The Restaurant
Once inside you’ll find that Stones Restaurant offers a modern, sophisticated and intimate environment. An ideal restaurant to enjoy a romantice evening. Also, you could impress your work colleagues with a business lunch or treat the family to some excellent tasting food.
Stones is run by Head Chef Kevin Stone, with his wife Jade and sister Katie Temple. Their aim is to provide you with stylish decor to relax in and enjoy your meal. The staff and welcoming, professional and ready to help. Additionally, they want you to enjoy your meal and provide a fine British menu. The menus are set for both lunch and dinner. However, they are changed on a regular basis to reflect seasonal and local availability.
Vegitarians will be pleased to know that they can order a bespoke choice.
